Energy Storage Expo in Guangzhou: every factory asked the same question
On 17 September we spent a day at the Canton Fair Complex in Pazhou — the International Energy Storage and Clean Energy Expo 2026, held alongside the 18th Solar PV & Energy Storage World Expo, over 2,000 exhibitors. We came for storage systems and ended up talking mostly about Russia.

Who was there and what they want
Energy storage systems, PV modules, inverters — and a good number of large manufacturers of industrial equipment and machine tools. Almost every one, on hearing we work with the Russian market, asked the same things: can you still do business with Russia? How do we get paid? What about certification? Who finds us customers there?
These are different companies from the consumer-goods factories that usually come to our platform: large ticket, the buyer is a plant or an engineering firm rather than an individual, long sales cycle, demonstrations and after-sales service required. Wildberries is not the answer for them.
Russian demand for industrial equipment is real
In recent years many European and Japanese equipment suppliers left the Russian market, but the machines in the plants keep running — they need spare parts, upgrades and replacements. Energy storage and distributed generation are in particular demand in the Far East and Siberia, where grids are weak. Chinese suppliers are the most realistic candidates to fill those gaps.
The difficulty is not demand but landing: technical documentation in Russian, EAC certification, settlement in roubles, finding a local dealer willing to represent you, exhibiting at Russian trade shows. That is exactly what we do.
We opened a section for industrial companies
After the show, a new section appeared on the site — Industry & Enterprise: Russian market entry for makers of equipment, machine tools and storage systems — dealer and partner search, Russian trade shows, EAC certification and Russian-language documentation, after-sales support in Russian.
And one specific request we heard again and again: nobody on the stand speaks Russian or English. We made it a separate service — trade show representative: our principal is a native Russian speaker, fluent in English, and can staff your booth and handle Russian- and English-speaking visitors.
Get in touch
If we exchanged cards at the show — or missed each other — register on the site or message us on WeChat. Within a week we will go through every contact from the expo and reply to each.
